The 1st May 2007 means I have been here for three months! It also means I get to come back to the UK in 24 days!
Sharon has settled in nicely now and is making friends and has a better knowledge of the city and how things work than I do. It may be that I have to persuade her to come back at the end of the month.
We have made a few more discoveries and done a fair bit of travelling this month.

...and here's a boring fact!
The tallest maypole is said to have been erected in London on the Strand in 1661; it stood over 143 feet high. It was felled in 1717, when it was used by Isaac Newton to support Huygen's new reflecting telescope.
